Hey, i bought the game yesterday and love it :) and was wondering if i could create another char so i can have an archer and a swordsman and if so how ?
Thanks

Yes. :D
You can have as many characters as you want, i believe. Feel free to make alts! It's fun and they become viable pretty quick these days.
Edit: how? Just make a new character before you join in warband (new name) and the character will be made, just like the first one.

What i forgot to add to the question is about online characters ?

Once you've been logged in once with a character, you can login on c-rpg.net with that character name and a password of your choice.
So you can make as many characters as you want. Each name you use ingame is a character you can login on c-rpg.net. Characters are tied to your cd key, so nobody else can use them.

ah just worked it out thought when i created a char it deleted other chars

While you can have more then one char, I would not recommend it.
If you retire your char 3 times instead of retiring 3 chars once, you will have a masterwork weapon and your char will retire much faster next time around. Trust me on this, at one time I had up to 5 chars, I regret it now.

Agreed. I've found out this the hard way. You could have an alt for experimental builds like I do though, especially when you're in a clan and need your main guy to have a near-perfect build with few errors.

It can also be fun though to have a TON of characters. I have my main who I experiment with a lot, but I also have a bunch of specialized builds for when I get bored with my main. If I feel like playing a shielder for a bit, I jump on my shielder. Same with my cav guy, or my polearm guy or whatever. Sure my main could be a much higher level than he is now, but it keeps the game fresh for me by being able to switch between guys a lot. Then again though, I don't really play the game to amass a bunch of heirloomed stuff. I just play it 'cause it's fun.
