Could someone please explain how bidding works i put an amount then it says highest big is my amount +1
-
That means someone else's max amount is higher than yours
-
Ahh but i put higher then the highest bid then it just raises mine 1 gold
-
You don't see the max bid.
-
then how do i see the max bid just keep refreshing the page?
-
It will inform you that you are lower than it until you pass it, then it will inform you that you are the new max bid.
-
i dont think your understanding this the highest bid is lets say 10 i put 11 and it bumps it up to 12
-
You will always win a bid by 1 gold.
Let's say I bid 100 gold. If no one else bids, I win by paying 1 gold.
If someone bids 5 gold, since I already bid 100 gold earlier, I will still be the highest bidder by 1 gold, so the top bid (mine) will be 6 gold.
If someone else bids 200 gold, they become the top bidder, but again they only win by going 1 gold over my total. So if they win they pay 101 gold.
-
And if you bid 102, when a guy is at 101 with a maximum of 200, he then jumps you to 103, and will keep doing that until you hit 201.

read the last 2 posts again... I'm not sure it can be made any more clear.

Why? It's like ebay.
You set a maximum bid you wanna go to, someone else sets a maximum bid bid lower that that so it ups to his maximum bid + 1.
A bids 5k
B bids 10k
Highest bid is set to 5k+1 as in 5001
C bids 50k, highest bid is upped to 10001 gold as player B is outbid.
Player A rebids 25k, offer is upped to 25001 gold.
Auction ends, C gets the item for 25001 gold, seller gets 23 750 gold.
Everyone else gets his gold back and C gets 24999 gold back since he deposited 50k in the first place.
Read this thread for more explanation if that isnt enough!
