so i get them nonstop since i updated this morning. solve it for me somehow :d

Clean your graphic card, download a fan control program and put you fans manualy to 100% ( the problem with the automatic increase that i experienced on my card is that the fan couldnt keep up with the rapid increase in temperature and reacted too slow for effective cooling, putting it on 100% from the start will fix this problem)
If you are on a laptop i reccomend getting a cooling pad (its cheap). My fps went from 60-70 to constant 120 after i bought it.
Why am i suggesting cooling? Im talking from my experience with fps and in almost all cases it was the problem of overheating (if not the game optimization)
If you dont think its a heat problem try optimizing your game - there are optimization packs on this forum im guessing in the mods compatible with crpg thread.
Also try downloading the latest driver for your graphic card

yep i got laptop but thing is shit started only after i updated crpg this morning and i dont seem to have problems anywhere else.

thanks for so many helpfull replies....... i will try to reinstall crpg.

you might try being more descriptive, because you've listed 2 different problems and no description of what happened or what it was performing like before
-
Since update its also fucked here, and my card has wetercooling so it's not running too hot.
Fucking fps lag everywhere on low settings even.
Reinstall doesn't solve it.

well nothing much to describe as i said befor it just randomly freezes/drops fps in game pretty often. No matter if i am fighting in angry mob or just riding alone across plain. And everything was nice and fluffy befor .

try turning 'load textures on demand' to the opposite position. if it was on, turn it off. if it was off, turn it on.

The problem about laptops is the hard drive. No matter how good your CPU or graphics card are, a laptop's hard drive will always be slower than a desktop's, and even slower than a SSD drive.
-
Enough laptops out there with decent 7200rpm drives on sata300/600 or even with an ssd. Shouldn't be a problem with an old game like this.
To state my point: I run crpg on a ssd and it still lags.
-
Well, I have a very good spec myself, including a Vertex 2 (which isn't the best SSD), and, with the new server's player limit, this happens to me as well. My FPS used to drop to 95 at much, but, with 200 players, it was worse.
So I suppose it's just the game's optimization, like always. Because, even after lowering most settings, it wouldn't improve.
The only games I've seen run at maximum FPS all the time are CoD 4, Crysis 2, and only a few others.

no effect

Happening to me too. I have excellent ping, with vsync off I get a displayed 120 fps...yet I have shit frame rate. With vsync on I get a constant displayed 60fps, yet again, shit actual performance.
It's not my hardware or any other crap...after the patches it's running like shit.
-
In warband configuration window, turn off v-sync and set maximum fps to 59.

One of ninjas is suffering the same.
"latest patch gives me awful frameskip that makes the game almost impossible to play."
-
i would donate one of my testicles just to get this fixed.

And i think there is many people, including me, with this problem....

still no help drom support team if there even is such :D
-
Could always have a shot at installing the old low-res texture pack. It doesn't replace all of the textures, but it should help somewhat.
-
link or it doesnt exist :D and it seems better for me now dunno about others

My ninja buddy has a decent computer, so he shouldn't ba having problems with that. He has an nvidia geforce 560 TI graphics card. It just skips frames.
