Reminds me of Strategus. 8-)

Played in a stress test, not a bad idea but didn't look like much then (alpha).
-
Yeah, I had the same feeling.
-
This looks promising. Might even give it a try or 2.
-
Yeah i tried it, definitely needs working on.
-
I remember trying this like a year and a half ago or something when it was in closed beta or whatever. Only played it for like 15 minutes because it was in pretty bad shape, might have to give it another try now though.
-
Did it change much?
When I played it it was awful.
-
I just remember it being terribly optimized and nobody was playing the damn thing. It was a really cool concept, just wasn't working very well since nobody was playing.
-
I like it alot, might try it out just for the heck of it.

My man :D
That I am :D

eh, frustrating experience, was on some map where axis had to cross the bridge, tanks didnt push, i shot people 3 times they didnt die, while i got killed from 1 shot almost 90% of the time, once actually flanked but they found out my positions in 5 seconds (do i pop up on map when i shoot?), overall didn't enjoy it at all :/
-
I tried it some months back but found the FPS experience to simply be poor, generic and arcadey.
-
Nope, there is nothing that shows your position if youre infantry, you have to use your eyes only to see enemies and use cover to be hidden.
Only headshots oneshot, and with your M1 garand you need 2-4 hits to kill people, depending how far away they are. garand is shit, you need to play for ~4 rounds to save enough money for the other Carabine, which has longer range and more damage (2 shots = target dead, if not VERY far away).
Argg why does nobody like it? I´m kind of addicted to this game atm, even if I play alone, I play it all the time
well i didnt give up yet :p
Although I'm playing a nazi, so no M1 garand for me. Using Gewehr 43 I think?
-
Yeah. G43/m1 garand and k98 carabine/M1903 carabine
I would´ve played germans too when you wouldn´t have to wait so long for matches, because there are like 100 active players more that play germany. (at peak times its like 450-550 player online of which ~300-350 are Germans or something around that).
Thats the reason you can´t be choosey about your matches as german, and so often land in matches with 100-180 ping, which seriously fucks you up.
As American I can choose my match, always have a good ping and even mostly can decide if I defend or attack, because there are always free slots for americans :D
Ah I didn't notice that. I just pressed quick match and got pretty much instant matches.
-
Yeah sometimes you get lucky. With 1 friend in a squad our estimated waiting time for a match was like 40 minutes (with germany). No, thanks. I rather play America instead
Can I delete my current soldier and make an US one then? Or do I need a new account :/
-
Yeah i was playing as Germany and found it hard to find a decent match with a reasonable ping. When i did i has a similar experience to okiN with regards to the core mechanics. I'll make a US account and maybe give it another try.
-
Ah it's that map :( I played 2 rounds on that map as attacker, we never managed to cross the bridge.
Btw, what do you suggest I should spend my first credits on (as an US soldier)?
-
But most of all, you should play with me, not alone :(
yaya i'll throw you a message when I'm on, still at work
