Take a look at its stats next to the Bec's:
Long Hafted Spiked Mace
weight 3
requirement 13
spd rtng 94
weapon length 138
swing damage 34, blunt
thrust damage 20 blunt
Knockdown
$4745
Bec de Corbin
weight 2.8
requirement 14
spd rtng 93
weapon length 120
swing damage 36, pierce
thrust damage 26 pierce
$7312
The Bec averages just 1 point more swing damage against 50 armour than the Spike Mace and 4 points more when stabbing. In every other way the long mace is superior. However, the bec costs 2600 more than the mace. Any suggestions on how to balance this? Right now I only know of three frequent Bec users while the Long Mace seems ubiquitous. It's also quite popular with archers on NA servers right now.

Because when they rebalanced the poleaxes and the bec they did not think to look on any of the hafted weapons. Will probably change soon enough.

If/when this item is rebalanced, (which I agree it does seem a little bit too good right now) it would be nice for those who have heirloomed it to be able to re-pick those modifiers.

the bec also has 3x damage to the head which the long hafted mace does not. I do not think comparing those 2 weapons is fair.

EDIT: It seems like I killed this topic ^^

Guess there will be a rebalance of those. Either one is underpowered or one overpowered or has too low price.
