Don't know if this is old news or not, but since everyone saw that there was resource files named "Ballista" in the last patch I thought I'd go find them and get some pictures. Sorry if this is old

Urist and I are working on the "ballista" now. It is going pretty well so far, so it'll definitely make it's way in to cRPG in the not too distant future :)

The ballista is better than my ugly looking plastic model, but that ram could sure use a roof.

^The Ram doesn't get a roof would be to difficult to counter.

You will have to smash it to stop it anyway, having to have guys stand there an operate it while they are being shot to pieces is just a terrible idea.

In strat you would just use a catapult instead if your siege team had to go and die 20 times to break down a wall or a gate.

It really does need a basic arrow catcher, even if it's just a flat high roof that you can shoot under from wide angles.

Nah just give the ram & the roof their own amount of HP so you will first have to destroy the roof to get to the ram. :)
