People in game are saying bows now do pierce damage. Is it true?

Depends on the arrows you use, just Bodkins do pierce after all.

Yeah I know that but people are saying the bow itself does pierce.

The bow does cut, and Bodkins change all bow damage into pierce.

They're most likely trolling you. But any archer who knows what they're doing uses bodkins arrows so every archer does pierce dmg pretty much.

Few uses Tatar Arrows or weaker.

Depends. There's some horse-hunters and range-hunters that use tatar arrows. Since the armor of thoses two opponents is pretty low. All a matter of choice of target, and ammunition.

Bodkin arrows pretty much ignore armor so that's why everybody uses them.
