Past Turkey is nothing compared to Ottoman Empire,and modern Greece is shit compared to Byzantine Empire get over kid,I bet you have more serious problems instead of praising killings of innocent people.

Praising = Talking about something in positive light.

Turkish genocide happened and Turkish sacking of Greek villages during WWI was horrible too. Turkey is a sweet country but many political flaws and government is shady.

Kebab is great, though. <3

I love Turkey and you have every right to be proud, just don't praise the bad stuff Turkey has done. Malaka!

Battles happened outside of a city, in Varna, the Turks lost twice the numbers of troops despite being 2-3 times more numerous.

Fairly incompetent, imo.

Ottoman army has 2 troop types :

Elites (Jannisary etc.) and others.

Elites using best stuff in army. Others like 'cheap' soldiers. Anyway , we won the war. And we were biggest empire in 1453 - 1683.

Feudalism and cannons have fuck all to do with one another, Crusaders troops had handgonnes that dated back as far as 1200's, during the Crusades.

The Pope and priest is also bullshit, it served as a way to unite Europe at times, and it still allowed much more progress than people actually beleive.

The Ottomans and their allies pushed back an attempt at landing, they sank a bunch of ships and some were hit by mines, its not ''we beat back the best Navy in the world, uheuheuheuhe'' kind of battle.

'sides the Ottomans and co still lost more soldiers despite being on the defensive, which is supposed to give e'm an advantage.
