here u can ask questions which experienced players might find silly.
i tried day z today for 1st time and got some questions
1.so there is limited number of things you can carry right? and is there any way to carry more for example get more bags?
2.i got killed by guy in black outfir. Are those bandits? and if not how do bandits look like and are they bots or players?
3.i bet there is thread like this in other place but i am lazy to find and only than ask questions so i made this.
4.oh and which server you prefere and where i could meet som of my beloved crpg players?

1. you can find a bigger backpack
2. there are no more bandits, you can't know if one is a player killer or not

Black as in african american or black as in dressed black?
You can change both your face (in settings) or find a new outfit in the world and then change to it.

I got a question. Where the fuck is the best place to find primary weapons and ammo? The best ive found after hours and hours of looking around electro and cherno is a crossbow.

Deer stands for mid tier, Airfield in the NW for top tier. Good spot is the Balota military base, has 4 deer stands (near the road from Balota to Cherno, can't miss it). Be careful tho, all these are PvP hotzones, specially the NW airfield.

when i enter server lobby or something it is receiving data so god damn long is it supposed to be like that? i just ussualy wait some time than jsut GTX and try luck in connecting to other server....

Yeah that's normal (atleast for 1.0.6). Sometimes it takes forever to get into a server, sometimes it's fast. They optimized that in 1.0.7 with the new Arma 2 patch.
Best to just find another server till it's officialy out tho.

i had good experience with frenchie servers, they were pretty quick to load.

now this sucks when i get pass that receiving data fuckface than i like forever with cute black screens and waiting for server responce and ofcourse russians flooding chat

i never waited more than 2-3 mins during (loading / getting char / receiving data...) phase i think, otherwise i just tried another server. those french ones were really fast to load, but today i tested one and was laggy as hell. overall i also had quite a good experience with some DE ones and DK1. as far as i remember i never managed to get into any other one. i just hope that next versions will be faster to load and less laggy. but i'm quite afraid that the 2nd part is just a dream

1.7.0 fixed the time it takes to get into a ingame(if you get into a server now, it's almost guaranteed you get ingame), reduced ingame lagg(including stuff taking forever to get into your backpack). Added a few new small bugs, but hey, DayZ has been suffering from server problems ever since it boomed, if he finally got rid of that it means he can actually start working on the game, instead of on the servers.

You need to first get the Arma 2 beta patch, it's all explained in the dayz forums 1.7.0 patch thread (under announcements)

Well, I'm getting stuck at "Loading" now, too. Was fine earlier today. Guess there might be another database failure like before when it reached 1 million characters.

What are the eprfect video settings for maximum performance but makes the game look sharp?

is there any way to make a something like stash? for example hide bag in the forest and store stuff there? i bet it is not :( would be cool though....

Only one server, of course, otherwise there'd be tents everywhere.

No you can't remove the spam on the left side of the screen. Though some servers have settings that minimize the amount you see.
Direct chat is only seeable/hearable with in a certain small radius, 10-30 meters I believe. I would test this out on your own the next time your playing though. I just generally use TS.

1 more thing, me and 2 my friends we all had looted watches. the problem was that while i had 21:00 the other guy had about 19:15 and the last one had half past four in the afternoon. Everybody from us had not only different time but we also saw different daytime (quite surprising we all played from the same ip and logged about the same time). How was that possible?

Dysnced with the server to differing degrees. When the red or yellow link is showing up your desynced with the server and not moving at the proper time. Also your lagging and some one that isn't desynced could be standing in front of you and killing you and you would have no idea until you fell over dead.

Yeah it is but don't think military camps are marked on the map anyway (the one between Balota and Cherno isn't marked either). Anyway, the military camp is just above the big square on the east side of Stary Sobor (below the letter "r" in "Stary Sobor")

That map is "up-to-date" but it definitely doesn't have all the locations. It's player made and is based on feedback by players, not any actual data.

view distance (think it's called "Range" in options) on a low value too?

yep also on minimum and how to do stuff like saluting and siting on your ass i have seen people to do such things.

check your keybindings (millions of keybinds tbh) in options and see what key you have assigned for Salute and Sit

Are you playing with the 1.7.0 patch + ARMA II beta patch? Both of those combined really helped many people, especially ATI card users, improve their framerate.

2. Saw somewhere that it may help if you bring up task manager>>right click arma2 on the process tree>> set priority to high.
3. Try different servers. For whatever reason some servers are laggy as hell for me and some are smoooooth. I cant see a trend behind this, just seems to be random.

Gamebooster is an intrusive placebo piece of crap imo...

Gamebooster only does things you can do to your computer as well.
Just automatic, I wouldn't pay a damn thing for that.

Full version of Gamebooster does cost, at least the newest version... Used to be free though.

2.already did that i read that setting it to realtime priority helps but i cant do that cuz when i press set it to realtime its says blah blah blah fuck you and sets only to high.And it does not help.
3.i tried different servers still the same.....
only thing taht seems to matter is restarting laptop or steam for some time i get 20/25 fps which drop to 9 from time to time..... and after a while it starts to fuck again.

No wonder you get bad FPS... Have you checked the temperature though? Get HWMonitor (http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html), run it and see how the temperatures are IDLE, then go in game and see how they are when you start to have FPS drop.
