Just wanted to know (and was unable to find out via searching):
How exactly does STRENGTH reduce the MOVEMENT SPEED PENALTY caused by WEIGHT?
As stated in the character stats page tooltip displayed when hovering the mouse over "strength"?
And keep any and all "nerf this, change that" bitching far away from this thread.
-
And hovering on agility shows "increases your movement speed" ???
New gameplay changes ? :o

Erm...what did you THINK agility did?
-
By itself ? Nothing I thought, in clusters of 3 its lets me get more shield.
-
4-5 agility gave you the same speed increase as 1 athletics or at least it was like that a few weeks ago.

i think only devs know that

A heavier weight weapon will block slower than a lighter one and that strength will help increase the blocking speed is what I understand. As for agility, yes, each agility point makes you run faster, but not the same amount as athletics.

This is the most relevant answer this thread has received so far.
Oh, the humanity.

yeah miley's right about agility making you run faster (not much, but it does increase some). Not sure how the str works exactly though.
-
not telling us the exact amount that STR affects weight penalty is stupid...
Someone will figure it out eventually, and it wont be some "secret knowledge gained through experience and understanding" but will be more like measuring or checking some fancy code?
So it's not fair game really, cuz then everyone will know eventually (except those who dont check) and the calculations considered for builds will capitalize on the effect in terms of the equations found.
Why increase the distance between now and then?
