you buy the slot, once you get it you make it or something alike

You only buy a slot for a banner and have to upload one later if you win. So they're no actual banners.

Yes, they are automatically updated through the launcher.

What is the ETA on said upload? I uploaded the banner properly, restarted my cRPG (which updates some files), chose 'Use Clan Banner'. Now when I am ingame and I press TAB I see the custom banner, but anyone else see a standard swadian banner (Black lion on red/brown background). Do the SERVERS need to update anything on their end also?

What is the ETA from the moment you complete your upload until the moment people start seeing the new banner?

if that is the case it is easier to go and edit some of that banners that exist now,copy over some native banner yours and woila. :D  No need to buy slot.

it only works for the others when they relaunch warband, obviously. Whenever the launcher runs, it downloads the latest version of the files. After 1 day, everyone should see the new banner.

Well it doesn't. I just relaunched Warband, entered the game, took two screenshots:

I checked the files (std_banners_custom_a)

Files are updated and yet I see only Swadians (?) banner, despite the fact that both clans have their exclusive banners.

Yea, noticed the "Swadian" banners yesterday evening too.
Well, give it a few days till every major clan got its slot and banner uploaded.

Exactly. Banner is updated for yourself when you look at it ingame (scoreboard), but your clannies show the swadian banner.
