Ive suggested it before, but I seriously think it would be a good idea to give a 5 second spawn protection so the Cav dont teambump at the begining of rounds.Surly this would be easy for the dev's to incorperate?
-
Hmm maybe if it was only at the beginning of rounds so then there would be no possibility of being attacked by the other team when this protection was active.
It would suck if your fighting at the enemy spawn and you shoot or stab someone but nothing happens then they kill you.
But honestly, I personally don't see this as being much of a problem, and I wear SUPER low armor.

If you're fighting at the enemy spawn within one minute you're a fucking lame spawnraping cav and don't deserve to do any damage.

I think you've misread my post. Sorry if I was unclear. ^^
I was saying that if something like this was implemented it should only be implemented for the
game-starting spawn where the entirety of both teams spawn at once, as opposed to during
the re-spawns which take place in siege games.
I believe to be obvious the issues that would arise from temporarily invincible troops spawning
around say a flag.

How about restrict cav movements for the first 10 seconds of each round? That way you will also have less enemy cav immediately racing to your spawn to kill of unaware peasants.
-
Cav should just spawn 10 seconds later than everybody else.

As you can spawn within the first 60 seconds this doesn't make so much difference. I usually spawn around 6:30 as I switch weapons even between rounds and do some stuff after I die. Often at this time the first cav already hits the spawn...
