This is my future build as a crossbow man, i will be using the seige xbow and steel bolts. Am i accurate if i have 145 WPF?
Level 30 (4 420 577 xp)
* Strength: 18
* Agility: 21
* Hit points: 59
* Converted: 8
* Ironflesh: 3
* Power Strike: 6
* Shield: 0
* Athletics: 7
* Riding: 0
* Horse Archery: 0
* Power Draw: 0
* Power Throw: 0
* Weapon Master: 7
* One Handed: 1
* Two Handed: 1
* Polearm: 100
* Archery: 1

Another question would be is, does strength increases damage? If not what does increase damage?
Ty in advance

As far as i know, nothing increases damage, its just what crossbow and bolts give.
That is reason why crossbows are not as strong compared to bows/throwing as they seem with quick look.
About your build, dont see any major flaws in it, be ready to shoot quite small ammount of bolts in quite many rounds, caused by your long reload time. Also it is possible you end up being more accurate with heavy crossbow (hardcoded inaccuracy from damage).
I myself used to play with sniper crossbow before new exp/gold system, these days it has been light crossbow (and most of time horse).
i dont specialize on builds and analyzing them, but cant see any major flaws in that one, as long as you do understand how much of time you are going to spend reloading instead of looking at your bolts flying.

Xbow build:
1. Collect 11932 gold
2. Buy a heavy xbow
3. Done.

After some points (around 130 imo), wpf will not increase a lot your accuracy, but it should increase reloading speed.
But a sniper xbow is slow as hell, so more or less wpf points you will stay slow.
Imo it's useless to spend a lot of point in wpf for xbow.
-
100 wpf gives you deadly accuracy at short-medium range, and pretty decent accuracy at range
-
In my opinion masterwork sniper xbow with +160 wpf is deadly weapon in good hands :). That's true it's slow but in my opinion over half of players can't survive hit with that. High wpf lets u to kill enemies in medium-high distance.
ow and one more thing..
Don't believe guys who told that they survive headshot with good xbow (i mean heavy or sniper xbow) I play since 5 gens crossbowman (GraveFlower) and nobody survive my headshot :)
my bulid (lvl 30) it's preapering for strategus on 31lvl it will have 24 agi and 8 points in athletics and weapon master
Strength 15
Agility 23
One Handed 1
Two Handed 1
Polearm 1
Archery 1
Crossbow 163
Throwing 1
Ironflesh 5
Power Strike 5
Shield 0
Athletics 7
Riding 0
Horse Archery 0
Power Draw 0
Power Throw 0
Weapon master * 7

My xbowman was on first gen when I headshot a blackarmor-tincan from pointblank range with my sniperxbow + steelbolt, he was wearing the best helm too and was probably pure 2h build with lots of IF since he survived. However, I didn't survive that one swing from his flamberge....
Anyways, I'm using a xbow/polearm hybrid build which goes as following:
lvl 30
agi 24
str 15
Unused 2
PS 5
Ath 8
Wm 8
polearms 133
xbow 133
Now that I've retired I'm planning on leaving polearm wpf around 100 and put the rest of the points to xbow.
Also a funny thing I noticed before retiring. When using light/hunting crossbow I was able to reload fast enough to actually duel with an archer on open plains :D Altho I don't know anything about the opponent archer, so he might as well been on very low lvls and new to crpg... anyways, the duel ended when a cav from my team killed the archer = I won... honorably. :lol:

Recently getting into this game and I'm trying to look into a good Xbow/2her hybrid build.
Though is it worth it? I currently am trying a strictly Archer build and I get the occasional kill, and more kills from wildly swinging my barmace with no points into 2h.
I like to shoot, and not afraid to pull out my 2her, I feel Xbow/2h hybrid fits my playstyle.
-
folow the above build and replace polearms with 2h, or invest more into strength and take less wpf in xbows.
