I'm trying to rename a siege map from "scn_blank_1.sco" to a name of my choosing in the form "scn_my_name.sco". What all is involved to complete such a feat? I have:
-updated the name in the "SceneObj" folder
-updated the name in "scenes.txt"
-updated the name in "strings.txt"
I made sure all my names matched and such, however after starting up crpg and clicking on "Scene Editor" I don't see my new name on the list. x'(
Could anyone help me? THANKS! ^^

If you renamed the Sceneobj, scenes and strings you did it right I believe. The reason it wont appear in the cRPG scene editor menu as such is because this list uses a different file source for its names as far as I'm aware. Not sure which though.

ah okay, so I suppose I should just rename right before I submit?
is this common practice?
Thanks for your reply ^^

Yes, just include the renamed .obj and two empty .txt files named 'scenes' and 'strings' with the copy pasted map info from the original files (named changed of course).
Happy mapping :)
