Title: Option to turn off "Lord X of X has joined the battle"
Post by: Rhekimos on May 21, 2012, 01:35:42 pm
We got the option to remove your own attention grabbing entrance fanfare from showing, a decision worth applauding.

I'm suggesting an option to turn off the rest of these non-important announcements, which would leave admin chat the only purple text in-game. Simply, someone with this option turned on wouldn't see the introductions of other people, regardless of their individual settings.

no

I would like to see "Bjord, the battleworn warrior has entered the battlefield" when I join.

HEHEHE

I don't want to know. Strat has no relevance to the battles on EU 1.

You can buy titles, you don't have to own fiefs. :)

Customized attention titles could be nice too.

I agree. It really is unnecessary. But I'm all for keeping it for those that want to see them.

Soon everyone will have a title then. Making the problem even worse.

Actually no, they will be put on auction and a title only lasts for a month. These auctions will not be very frequent.

Because they are now selling titles, this means crpg has moved one place towards Plutocracy. Horse prices should increase.

Titles would have no meaning, if they could just be turned off like that.
I wish i had more gold to spend on such stuff :(

Those title auctions are just added so less money is available on the market. Actually a good thing. Probably. IF there's a money sink by that and therefore lower prices in the end... theory :D

This... burning money for the ones with endless chests full of gold. Too sad I'm not one of them

Instead of option to turn it off, I would like to hear short trumpets when these people join server.
Same.

I don't want to know. Strat has no relevance to the battles on EU 1.

But the random titles definetly have to stay.
