I do miss old cRPG, but peasants war were a pain, shit's getting interesing when a few people start getting gear and every is going ''omg x has y, loot his corpse!'' and up.

The old system with a 2 month hard reset will actually work without the problems the eventual persistent old system caused. Maybe we will go back to the fun mentality there was back then.

Only real LooneyAxe user I still remember, didn't see anything else in his hands, disappeared after the weapon was taken out.

I remember that guy with his crushthrough morningstar NA player on the EU-only servers at that time, but his name escapes me.

I did use it a lot during the last one or two months of true cRPG we had. Was extremely fun. My loadout was something like 1h sword + shield + looney tunes axe + throwing junk xD

Frank did you ever see pre-patch Dimos? He was said to be over level 45.


I remember a guy who retired every week this is prepatch and and only used black armour and throwing lances, Baldwin I think. If I could contact him now and get those looms.

The sniper crossbow could shoot through any shield and head shot the shield bearer, was it 100p damage?. Slots only limited the amount of throwing you could carry. heavy armour worked and elite scim out performed almost anything.

I almost forgot the lance of compensation. Which has not been mentioned yet.

Also choosing between the sword of tears and sword of cookies that was the hardest decision that i ever made in this game. Money was not cheap.

Full plate sniper accurate jumpshotting archers with a flamberge on their back and the old bow animations. One thing I will not miss.

Ahh I remember One reset and everybody was naked exept those guys who didnt rejoined and literally everybody attacked the armored guy... Even teamnates :D

Speaking about sky ladders, over a year ago I made a video about them called Mount & Blade Warband cRPG Mod: All Ladders go to Heaven (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45eU2xcYmwg). It's a must see for anyone who started playing the mod after the devs patched the sky ladders.

Me, Rhekimos, SmaSol (not here anymore) and some other fallens I can't remember atm build it. Took about 2 hours I reckon, much of the time climbing. Maximum number of all ladders were used.
