Like body armor, hit points, speed rating. I might go with a shield build soon and just want to know the important stuff.
-
body armor= shield armor only
hit points = shield hit points
speed rating= blocking speed
-
Is the difficulty shield skill?
-
Yes. 3 AGI each skill.
-
Shield skill is agility based, you need 3 agility for each rank of shield skill you want to level up. Shield skill is the "difficulty" listed on the item page for each item.
When you successfully block with your shield, it takes damage instead of you. The hit points/armor listed are the shield's "life" and work the same way as a player's hit points.
Extra levels of shield skill beyond the required difficulty level will increase your speed and blocking radius, as well as increasing your shield's durability.
-
Resistance is how much dmg is "absorbed" b4 the shield loses hp, like armours armour rating
-
For the speed rating, 100 speed blocks as fast as manual blocking. So anything slower than that and you're slower than a manual block.
