Title: Siege map needs to be deleted from play roster.
Post by: Tsarevitch on March 22, 2011, 03:47:56 am
So has anyone played that terrible map on siege that consists of two spawn points and a flag? I mean man that was some amazing map making skills... but in all seriousness it was about the worst map I have seen yet in cRPG. Really I thought that you could only besiege a defensible position like a castle or stockade. I don't see how a flag is a castle at all. This is a disgrace and needs to be deleted. If you agree please help me get abomination of siege maps erased from our game forever.

What? Are you talking about the random plains map? Because that's a bug.

If thats a bug then someone really needs to fix that crap. I don't understand why there aren't more people allowed to change these things.

I actually quite like it. I find it surprising. Big rampage on the field!
Just to play it once in a while is ok, no?

yeah it's fucking hilarious to play this once in a while - and it's the only siege map where acutally all the defenders team up right and defend the flag - cos there are no fucking stones they can hide behind elsewhere or defend this one piece of wall while 20 guys rush through the backdoor to the flag

I was actually thinking about making an open field siege map, but it would be like a beach assault and an uphill fight with fortified positions

Also the flag would represent the outer wall of a keep or the front steps or something to that degree
