i don't know if it's related to the new patch, but lately spawning lasts for centuries for me. when i'm spawned i'm facing lance between my eyes or alone in the field with bunch of ninjas and cavs happily running toward me. than gangbang

Been there, done that.
For every multi-game I have played on any server I have always spawned after 75% of the players are already moving. For me, it is not ping based since my ping ranges from 28 to 120 depending on which server I am on. I have learned that I have to accept it if I want to play this mod.
-
longer i play, the longer is spawning time, finally at 3rd map i get autokicked

Well, what are your computer specs? I suspect a very old hard drive.
-
I have the same problem. Clean windows (xp) install (bootcamp), great internet connection and far from low end computer.
I can spawn right away but after a few seconds the game goes to 1fps for something like 10 to 20 seconds.
-
Some high end computers still got crap hard drives.
-
I have the same problem, but it might be my ping witch is usualy over 500 in every server, even the east coast U.S. server, where i live.
I have windows vista laptop. Same problem, big ping.
-
Same, every round it make me 3 to 4 secondes to respawn/load round, in addition to the shifted freetime which add 2/3 seconds.
This lasts maybe a half times longer than before.
That said, my computer is closer to a Poney than a Courser. P4 ftw! :)

Windows XP causes a big delay at spawn. I recently switched to Windows 7 and this no longer happens.

Not him but;
Just becouse you got a 2 TB harddrive or so does not mean it's fast / high end.
Most of the "best" gaming/overall hard drives are really small when it comes to size. But their speed is incredible.

Well, if M&B doesn't take ages to load at start, the HD can be ruled out. What I was talking about are vendors that sell "high-end" computers, but put in budget parts where they think you won't notice them (like the HD, the motherboard, or the memory sticks). I recommend to put all M&B settings on lowest (DX7 mode), then check and see whether you still get the spawn delay. If so, it could be worth to measure your HD speed with the hd speed tool from steelbytes.com. Only do a read test, or it will destroy the data on your disk.

This happened to me a lot with my 1GHz machine with 386MB of RAM. Try using DirectX 7 and a resolution no higher than 800x600, with graphics settings toned way down (texture detail 15% (don't worry, it still looks fine), no grass, no particle effects, no shadows (or just have very simple ones for players), that kind of thing). That helped for me, though when there were a lot of players on the server it was still a bit slow.

this speed you're talking about, is it the rpm or something else? I have a 7200 rpm HD.
Also, to clarify, for me the game loads fine. But at match start my fps drops to 1 when the majority of people spawn.
On small battles there's no issues.

But the game runs fine after 10 seconds or so. I am getting 160% performance on the performance indicator thing.
-
Hi. I have the same experience using XP. Sometimes as long as 10 seconds until I can move. My ping is fine, usually around 40.
-
hmmm. i realized that it could do something with speed of ram, because i think that it takes time to write all data to ram
i think my ram is at 166mhz

I had the same problems they got worse as I played. The issue for me was CPU temperature. I had a bunch of dust stuck in the heat sink and my CPU was running way to hot (80c) download Real Temp and take a look. After I cleaned the dust out, worked great.

my is 2.8 ghz overclocked to 3.25 and it produces max temp 62°C
