Title: 6x4 steam key. how do i make this work?

i got the game during the holiday sale and at first i had a problem with the 6x4 key steam gave to me but taleworlds customer support simply added my key to their database and i havent had a problem since.

until i downloaded the new crpg launcher that tell me it wants to activate my serial key. but it dosent recognize mine. what do i do?
