Good Day Ladies and Gentlemen, Trolls and Imps, Geeks and Nerds!

Since I was bored, like I always am while "buisness-meetings with the porcellaine-god", I thought about providing the stuff I will provide in this Post.

I will maybe make you a banner. Or make your actual banner more bannerish. I will try to make them as medi-eval as I can, so people like Leiknir got no reason to cry. ;)

Yes. This will be for free. No. I don't take responsibility for any graphic-copyright-shit that will come. No, I can not guarantee that your banner will get into the banner-pack - That's stuff you gotta do yourself.

It will happen as you can read it here:

A) you write a post in this topic, regarding the following informations:
B) I will look at your post, check everything out.
C) If I don't like the idea I won't do anything, unless you donate for me doing it. IN EURO! to my friggin paypal-account!
D) If I like it I try to get an inspiration. Until then you gotta wait. Don't go on my nerves - otherwise I start to dislike your idea.
E) When I finally got an inspiration I will make your banner. With graphics and fonts that I have or find somewhere on the internet. I don't take responsibility for any law-stuff with copyright and whatever. (But I guess there won't come any, since this is only a game.) - If I think I am (nearly) ready, I will PM you with my work. F) When your banner is ready (you maybe have a long, white beard like Miraculix then), I will post it in this thread. It will maybe not include the graphics you gave me in your post and maybe won't use all/any of the stuff you wanted - but usually it should fit to the name/style of your clan.

I humbly ask if there is anything that you might do to "pretty up" the banner of the Crusaders of Acre? As far as details, I'm not sure what would work. You're more than welcome to just "go crazy' if you'd like.

your banner is imo very good, there is no need to pretty it up (90 percents of other clans have uglier banner than you have).

Its good. not very detailed and rather plain, same as the templars banner... but a border is the first thing i'd add... followed maybe by a little colourchange (maybe an other yellow that does not look like urin. :P)

Whats the problem with "plain"? Just because half the clans need their powerranger suit, doesnt mean that true banners look plain. The coat of arms of the crusaderstate of jerusalem is perfectly fitting for a crusader clan, more than the iron cross.

And in this case, historically accurate too.

A shame that the Hospitaller guild is using the modern red and white instead of the black and white that was more common back in the crusades.

Regardless, I am a fan of the simplistic banners, as honestly they look better.

Oh, sorry. I guess you misunderstood me. I did not say anything against plain banners. I said it is good, BECAUSE it is plain. (at least I wanted/tried to say that.)

I could've taken an christian cross but i thought "since they already use the iron cross, i will stick with it."

And, as you can see, I did not really take any simpicity out of the banner... I did not add any glare- or glowing-effekt or anything. all I did was adding two borders... the white and the black... and that is easily done with a needle and a ... arr dunno the english word for it... that very very very thin rope that holds your clothes together. (no, i don't want to use my translation-site at the moment. :D)

So no worries Leiknir, I will try to not-produce some texhnolyzed banners - like the CotgS-Banner. :D

Edit: Sorry, I had to do that joke. "Thread" is an ugly word, the Th and the r behind are somehow not my friend. I am always saying "Topic" instead. But yah. True. Thread = little rope. :O

Hey Niemand. We have a new banner but i guess it can be still improved. So i'll give you the link to it and if you have some ideas to make it look better just go ahead and show me the result. Overall i would like to see it more bannerish and maybe you can tweak it abit. Just let your ideas fly :)

Hi, I am currently making a clan, no members as of yet, however I did a few banners and the herald. I'd just like to post it and ask that you evaluate it, as a conoisseur, you know, whether it would be accepted or not. I have two versions.

I don't really like it. Okay, it looks less like plastic... but... dunno. The coins are wrong. Its hard to find something good that I can use for a theme with an eagle and coins... unless I want to do something like that:

yah. that's what I meant.

Before anyone thinks something wrong: I don't want to offend the guards. I like them. This is just something that came to my mind while thinking about the banner... (i have headaches now). If you like it it is good, but I will keep my eyes open for good things I can use for it... until I am satisfied.

This cross on our white background would be nice. Perhaps a golden border a few CM thick around the edge of the banner as well? The cross itself is too big though. Would have to be like this

This is our banner in the "Alternative banner pack". It'd be nice if it cold have that goldish texture, while still having that black border on the crosses.

Okay on the Bannerlist are now two things... - the signature for the rangers is one. the other one is ordered via PM, I will treat that discretely.

On the other side I made this two for the Lumberjacker-Clan/Woodchopperclan (See above):

Niemand, i love what ure dooing, but please make banners in the proper size (132x340) so we dont have to resize them in banner pack (they look silly if we do, loose symetry etc) :)

I got that big template... i luv it, cuz it got that size. but I will try to resize them. shall I resize some of my finished banners for you? If yes, a list would be great. :D

I can resize them myself, the problem is they loose symetry when i do. Thats why its needed to use good size when making them :)
