I kinda gave up playing it when my guy refused to ever take out the spear he has or because he finally took his spear out and threw it at the enemy who had a shield. It seems like the enemies always took out their weapon at the start of the round and only ever threw it if they had a second weapon, which they would always pull out next turn.
Basically I rage quitted mybrute.

It gets better :D. I've seen some pretty epic fights, I've been picking on Gorathpxc with my sons character, and he keeps stomping me.

So in this game can you select your own weapons and upgrades ? Do you have any control over how the fights go ? Because so far it seems I randomly get the upgrades and I have absolutely no control in battle either.

I leveled my brute to level 18 or something if i remember correctly, then I just quit it because it was stupid bullshit. But now I wantz him back :(

My OP brute didn't even need to use the whip, the crushthrough weapon of mybrute. Goodness it's been awhile, I didn't know my characters still existed either.

I used to play it every day maybe 2 years ago? My brutes recently started seeing action again Sunday but I doubt I'll remember to keep playing them, as you said it takes waaay too long to level.

oh, I do have a character. Baffle. Level 8, same as kophka -- http://baffle.mybrute.com/fight/3785201 but I won. Mostly punching him to death. Killing him made me level 9~
Uhm, I played this way back when it had just started. when the highest character's level was 25.
