Assuming everyone knows about this by now but maybe not so just posting this to let anyone who doesn't know know.

"Well be conducting a stress test on Monday May 14 from 11 AM to 6:00 PM PDT (-7 GMT).
This special test event is open only to Pre-Purchase customers who have registered their accounts. With your help, we can conduct important tests and address some of the issues we identified during our first Beta Weekend Event. During this event, all you need to do is play normally with a new or existing character on your Beta account using the same game client. Please note that since this is a stress test of our servers, you may experience some in-game performance issues. If youve pre-purchased Guild Wars 2 and wish to participate in the stress test, we recommend that you register the account and download the game client.
Pre-Purchase customers, log in to the Beta Forums for more information and/or to download the Beta client if needed.

And now, it's all "pre-purchase costumers". Guess too many bought the game already, so they don't care about the others. Because usually, stress test means 'bring a LOT of people'.

Previous stress test was pre-purchasers only too. And even from the pre-purchasers only 10% was invited.

Last BWE they had they actually put it "sold out" for that weekend, so you couldn't buy the game.
It's impossible to be sold out with a digital copy, but I'm assuming they did that to control the influx of people. Which I'm sure was A LOT.

Central is 2 hours ahead of Pacific and 1 hour behind Eastern

I'm so excited. I didn't get to par-take in last BWE so hopefully the servers won't implode and everything will be fine.
I'll be playing through this whole thing, any tips you guys got? I'll be going thief. I plan on WvWvW'in for like 3-4 hours.

unlock your weapon skills in pve first, then goto WvW. skill learning in WvW was bugged or very slow.
also local chat in WvW zone was readable by all factions, unless they changed or fixed it..so cant use it to coordinate. I think /team may work though

I was like I'm gonna play PvE for most of the time to check out amazing world.
Ended up 80% I was in WvW - Also Necromancer is awesome in WvW.

I got a group of friends I'll be playing with and one of em is going Necromancer, the skills looked really creepy.
We got a Thief, Necromancer, Warrior, Elementalist so far and one is undecided.
I'm pretty sure RipperX will be joining me for the event too.
Edit - 2 of my friends played very briefly in BWE and they had difficulties getting in the same zone together to play, does anyone know if there is a FOR-SURE way to get in the same zone? Apparently there was a overflow zone and a regular one? or something....not to sure.

Start in a zone you can all get into (like a city), form a party and then enter the area you want to be in with the party leader going first and everybody else just behind.
This is not fool proof but it is the work-around for the problem as suggested by the devs :)

You could also go straight to WvW and start hitting those PvE quest areas -- slay the harpies to get the ogres on your side, etc. But yeah, it didn't seem like unlock points were being correctly given out for PvP kills.
Oh, escorting dolyaks is useful and will give you a good number of PvE kills as well. They get attacked like every 50 feet.

Has a bunch of tutorials all EXTREMELY helpful and will save time so you don't have to wonder and waste time figuring out stuff.

Hm last time I tried Guardian and Thief but even though they have ranged abilities then just weren't that useful for sieges.. going with a more ranged class this time. Still not sure what class to pick for release so I spend my betas testing out classes.
Oh also the Guardian was kind of disappointing damage wise.

Also for thiefs I saw another video when they got a bow equipped they have the teleport skill and you can actually use it to get on the siege walls.

TIME TO PLAY THE GAIMZ. In 15 minutes.
Welp, getting a black screen upon starting up the game and it crashes. So much for being excited.

I got a bit of game time but it's lagging so hard because of my shitty internet. I get complete freezes every 2 mins for a good length of time. Sometimes 30 seconds or more of just nothing so looks like I won't really be playing tonight.

My isp seemes to hate me playing gw2. No lag or anything in game, but when I'm done and want to play something else they throttle me so heavily that EU1 is unplayable. 400+ ping when its normally <50.
