It doesn't work in MP for the most obvious reasons, which are distance factors, travel speeds, fast movement/direction change, etc.

Using any sort of hacks/macros/cheap tricks in a game which beauty and fun factor resides in the very ability to decide multiple direction factors and others, it's like the running the special Olympics.
