Fuck yes may the virgin be forever gracious to you. Thank you for bringing DTV back and for the fixed rewards, im actually gaining some xp and getting some profit form it!
But maybe the max player count should be lowered again because when 60 tincans and chads rush towards you in the morning light armors shining it gets gretty choppy, also very chaotic. Also, theres alot of trolls and leechers in the servers who actually try to ruin the whole game by luring the bots out of a lure etcetc. and i have hard time *AHEMkilling them all :pAHEM*kicking them...
Huzzzzah, everyone who played this amazing match! Long may your defenses hold! Winning DTV is very rare nowadays...

Thanks for DTV.
One problem - some admin, name Jacko come on server and change map from standart to old one. And result - no one can play, because bot spawn behind buldings and players can't go there. Done server automatic change after we killed virgin 3 times :rolleyes:
Admins please don't change maps. Server stuck after this.
Please change it.
And some questions:
1. Will be new maps, for this gamemode ?
2. Will be new bots ?
3. What about problem of lechers ? Many people spawn with tunic and wood weapons and just die in 1 min and waiting for gold and XP. What about them ? Some people wants end this gamemode, but with many leching people it is imposible.

DTV atm is more about abusing weak AI then about anything else, also its full of leechers that spawn with crap gear only to wait for xp/gold.
I really like the XP/gold/time/wave system, but in DTV it fails absolutely horribly. Your XP/gold gain should be affected by your lvl and kills in DTV. At least in a way that there should be a certain number of kills/deaths/your_lvl/enemy_wave that you'd need to get in order to get any xp/gold at all. Maybe then we wouldn't see guys like Byzantium_Dieler waiting at spawn in his underwear...
Also the level desing of maps in DTV is terrible. With current maps no matter how you change the gameplay, it will always suck hard.

Dude you just grab long weapon,hold S and do overhead and have a top score. That is it.
But beaware because bandit maulers and nomads with mace tend to chamber overheads,so don't get close to them.
Weaboos tend to chamber and block hits from sides,and they can't block overhead.Common to all bots is tha they block thrust,everything else they don't block.

Who cares about defending the virgin, defending the village/city sounds much more interesting.

haha i founded way to exploit bots there, you just needed - Horse - x5 - 1 enemy -full speed- press A or D button, hold it and press t. :D

But... u dont get xp/gold on a tick in dtv, u get it when all bots r dead and the longer u take the less u get if my info is correct.

Yep the more the reason people have no problem dying in early waves (like 4th tops) to get back to the 1st waves and easy money / xp.
I miss Defend the Village, where proper tactics with shieldwalls, etc, actually mattered.

i realy dont get it. why i get big ammount of exp and gold and repairs for clearing first two wawes,but i get no repairs,200gold and under 10k exp for clearing vitez wawe. No logic in that at all.

I've heard it depends on how many people are alive at the end.

i think it depends how fast you clear the wawes. Faster you win,more exp u get.
