Title: Outbid on auction but I don't get my money back?

Like title says I've been outbid on multiple auctions of 100k or more and I am not getting my money back after being out bid? I can't seem to afford to keep doing higher bids and losing higher multiplicatives of gold if I don't get money I've bid before back.

Can you even bid higher if you already "spend" your money on the previous bid and you don't get it back until the end of the auction? Kinda weird system, I would never give ebay my money when I don't even win the auction  :mrgreen:

Just lost 110k gold after auction ended and got a message
"Marketplace auction #63 lost
You have lost the auction #63, your deposited bid of 0 gold was returned to you."

This was for Bodkin Arrows +1 where I of course got overbid.
Had messages like that before where I however always bid more than 0 gold (of course).

Bugged? ...

The message is not very clear since the last change, will fix it. The change was that soon as you are overbid your deposited gold is returned (but you don't get a message for that). When an auction ends any deposited gold that might be left is returned and that is stated in the message (it should be always 0 though unless you are the highest bidder).

If the auction ends due to time or the owner cancelling it, you get your money back. If you get outbid, you get your money back.

When any of these happen, you get an automated message saying "You lost the auction, your bid of 0 gold was returned." You do get the gold you deposited back though.
