i noticed people puting up master worked items for +3 heirloom points which is kind of dumb considering you cant save your loom points and have more than 1 at a time and the server hasnt reset loom points in forever. But maybe if you sacrificed a sum amount of gold maybe 100k-250k to destroy your armor, weapon ect and receive your point back. you could even charge like 600k to defuse a +3 and get your points back to loom what ever you want. just a thought guise

Well, we considered a system where you could recycle +3 items into 2 heirloom points but it got vetoed due to it mainly making already super rich people richer since they could recycle their elder torches and elder practice longswords into two heirloom points and make another 1.2 mil.
So probably ain't gonna happen.
I actually like that you now can trade stuff and I think +3 item for 2 open heirloom points will happen on the market now, +3 for 3 loompoints probably not.

I kinda like this idea because if i didn't misinterpret your post. You're saying that we should be recycling our +3 heirloomed gear for 3 loompoints plus cash for each loompoints correct? Well if we made it 250k per loom that be 750k just to recycle a +3 which is a little more than an heirloom point. You could also only make this possible with masterworked items so +1 and +2 items wouldnt have that.

If it'd cost over 600k to get your points back from a +3, then I'd say YEAH
That's because:
1. Money sink!
2. Instant +3 new items!
3. Money dumping!
4. Useless cudgels to great plate armours!
5. Money trashing!
And the best reason would be, that this would cause the amount of money on the market to diminish, reduce and decrease :)
So yeah, add it.

It would also remove some money from the market!

It would have to be limited like Spanish said to only +3s. The danger would be that people would just burn gear and sell the loom points. If it cost 750k to get 3 points and you sell each point for 600k you have a pretty massive profit. I think it would have to be about 400k per loom point, so around 1.2m. That would still be good though. It would still burn a fat whole in the over all money supply, much faster than the tax will.
How you ask? Well people would be throwing shit loads of money into a black hole, individual millionaires would get richer for a short period before the market crashed as a huge surplus of loom points sat in the market doing nothing. Also it would for a short time create a lot of movement in the market, people would by up all the cheap shit +3s to burn into points to make new exciting gear.
Also +3 Elders Torch is a sacred object Meow, not POS.
