That is fantastic! Finally I can use STF to try out classes effectively without having to grind money for hours. Although this should have been done like this from the get go. So I shouldn't be thankful for this implementation, cause its basically a way too late fix of an earlier fuck up.
Thanks for doing what shouldve been done half a year ago.

you could just have repsecced and then STF before :P this is nice tho as it saves you if you forget to respec first
-
Pretty sure before this you had to delete the STF char before you could create a new one so respeccing it would only have reset all the skill points without actually allowing you to redistribute them.
This way you can have one char which is permanently your STF and can save up some gold and gear without having to start from scrat and with 10k gold every time.
Way better.

So you lose 50% xp and keep ALL YOUR POINTS?
(if the above is not true ignore the below)
Does that mean if you were lvl 20 with (example not correct) with 20 points and you lose 50% of your xp resulting in you being lvl 15... Does that mean that when you reach 20 again that you have more points then a not respecced lvl 20? Like you got 20p at lvl 20 you reset to 15, gain 5 lvls you got 25 points at lvl 20?
Just wonderin' i havent tested it..
Checked it :P

Actually, back in the dark old days you could only STF the one char because alts weren't a thing and then you had to wipe the account clean, but you could stf every 10 seconds.

Hell It's about time
also this means I can STF a character that has a loompoint on it and NOT delete it! ohhhh my god YESSSS
My permanent STF character will now be Sticky. My gen 2 alt with a Strong Short Bow. Genned for 5k before upkeep.
time to unleash the beast.

-

Well you could use an alt that you had ground out some gold and gear on for the skip the fun char and you kept all the gold and items and had 10k gold added to that, but if you forgot to respec the alt before using it for stf the points you already had spent stayed as well.

Still has a 7 day limit on how often you can change the stats. Way too long imo.
-
+1
Its good now!

If you respec a STF char, does it loose half its points and you have to level it up or does it stay at level 30?

It resets all your attributes/skills and your character is still frozen at level 30. I tested it yesterday with my archer alt.
-
BTW I got a question to STF:
-It says you can reassign skill point each 7 days.
-So you don't need to delete your character for a ''new'' STF character? And you don't lose money items etc.?
-
I also like to think they added my suggestion from a couple months ago about giving money to alts. (I'm sure I wasn't the first to suggest this)
-
Well now, this is just fantastic!

This sounds really good :-)
