Okay, so from what I gather there's some risk with buying loom points, in that you pay your money and the loom point never actually arrives. My proposal is very simple and very easy to implement:
On retirement, rather than selecting an item to loom, instead have an option to create an "upgrade kit" or something, which acts as a loom point, which can be applied to any item at any point and is tradable on the marketplace. This not only removes any risk from buying loom points, but it allows people to retire without having to pick what item they want to loom at the time. This way they can put some real thought into what they want to do with it.
At least, I think that's a good idea... anyone with me?

I don't see how there is risk buying loompoints. Tell them what you want loomed and they put it on market at agreed upon price. Plus admins will ban anybody who tries to scam and you will recover all lost goods.
