Title: Training
Post by: jj12jj12 on April 21, 2012, 03:19:14 am
A training center should be implanted, similar to native's training camps, it would make it simpler to learn howto block. It should either be accesible from the main menu or as a server option (though how that would work idk...).
Thanks,
  Adissaric

Ps. This is just a idea i though up on the top of my head, it has not been throughly thought through ,gh, if you see problems please explain them and then think of a way around them:D also if you can find a good way to implant this please say so.

That's exactly what I did when I started playing last year

Do many ppl come straight to crpg?

I hope for their sake that they dont, its kinda a difficult thing to get gear and levels AND learn at once. I came here to crpg when it was brand new but I got warband when THAT was brand new also, if anything my skill has gone DOWN in crpg, cause its not so fast paced and there are less massively OP things.

The only problem with using duel to train your self is some of the people are to fast (before you can block), you get frustrated and dont come back, while i agree that it is a good place to train, it is certainly by no means, good for beginers. perhaps a duel server for players under lvl 10?

Wait till level ~20 before you start practicing, you're at an incredible disadvantage beforehand

This is what I did as well, though I also did some training in the native duel server. Most frustrating shit ever, but it works extremely well.

I think it would just split up the servers more

This mode would not offer xp or gold. (Possibly not even multi)
Also in regard to the post about native, it just takes to **** long, also, due to the stat changes, creating a char on native becomes pointless as you do not have the same 'ability' as a c-rpg character.

Because the bots on native a little weak i also think that the bots used for this 'training camp' should be comparable to a lvl 10 player.

ps. You should be able to pick which weapon TYPE you wanto use, the actual wepon being the worst of its class. The reason behind that is, 'if your profitiant with a **** weapon, what can you do with a good one?'.

Just saw this post and, with a little modification, it could be used as a replacement for my idea if its easier to implant (though something would have to be done about xp/gold gains) Clicky (http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,30593.0.html)

Edit.
Just realized that I should have just edited the above post, expecially due to them being within 5 mins of eachother, o-well.
