I am currently using Milanese Sallet and it's kind of eh.

Transitional is quite versatile, lots of helmets fit to it.

Stuff like sallets, bascinets, klappvisiers, Sugarloaf helmets are all good choices.

i think the pigface klappvisor or the hounskull bascinet look the best

Go with the Yellow Hood; it offers maximum protection while still giving your character that extra bit of style that I'm sure he needs.  :wink:

I'm better of writing a tutorial on how to use OpenBRF to check out sets of armour, it's very easy.

My favorite one? I'm not a transitional user, but I like the Houndskull, because it's kinda.. rare and unique, at least where I play.

White Tournament Helmet, overlooked and not so popular, but it looks great with that armor.

Depends on the color of your banner.

If it's reddish, go for the Great Helm (that Templar looking one)

If it's any other "hot" color, try the sugarloaf helm.

If it's a "cool" color, the Klapp looks alright.
