Title: AlQadeaVonSnitzel name change.
Post by: Sarpton on April 16, 2012, 01:56:58 pm: I find this character's name very offensive if he is just posting for the "lulz". If that is part of his Ideology then that's fine and I can respect that. But if its just for lulz I'm sorry but I did not get blown up for this person to have a laugh.

I request he drop the al-Qaeda portion. I find it extremely offensive. If he can explain why its not a troll name that's fine.

If any screen shots or photos of my surgery is needed I will gladly post them.

I am guessing that he is a wounded soldier. I also think religious intolerance is thrown out the window when talking about terrorist groups...

Necron232, I doubt we will start asking people to change every troll name.

On a side note, while I doubt this guy has been using the name forever, my brother used to have an old D&D name called Tallyban that he started using in 1978 and carried over into Everquest, WAY before there was ever a group called The Taliban, yet he began recieving death threats after 9/11 from soldiers that were upset over his use of the name. He quit using it because he got tired of being harassed about it from "people who were blown up".

If you don't like the name, make it your mission to see that he sits in spectate watching the battle as often as possible.
