Title: Does carrying a shield on your back (just one in total) slow you down?

Or would you be able to move as fast as having no shield at all?

Remember, I mean just a single shield on the back, not two shields (one on the back, one on the arm).

You'll move slower with shield on your back than without.

Having a single shield, be it on your arm or on your back, will slow you down by its weight.

Having two shields, be it one on your arm and one on your back, or two on your back, will slow you down by some exponentially higher amount than just the weight of the two shields summed together, to the point where you will be as fast as a turtle.
