Please give us the old ladders back. The new ladders are so fucking dumb. They stop at 45 degree angle instead of landing when they hit something. I'm sure this saves a few thin skinned morons from the horror of ladderpaulting but is it worth sacrificing the physics? NO! It's not worth sacrificing the physics. Instead of needing to take a wall in siege, we get ladder ramps that run from attacker spawn all the way into the highest tower of the castle, maybe skirting around for asthetic or pratical reasons. It looks fucking dumb. Also, why is it that ladders constantly fall through the castle walls? There is no way we can restart strategus if it works like this with ladders. Is it because the walls were tweaked because some skill less noob cried that his weapon kept hitting the side? (and was too much of a dumbshit to adjust fighting style) Or is this simply some other form of dumbfuckery associated with these new ladders.
Solution: Fix the fucking walls and give us the old ladders back.
I realize this is a rage post, but I have been thinking about this for a long time and feel that I need to say something. I used foul language in order to enunciate my point appropriately. A rage post for a rage worthy subject.

this is pretty annoying yeah, the strange thing aswell, you've got ladders passing through walls, weapons passing through blocks/people and enemys passing through people, i dunno if the last two are caused by lag or what, maybe it's because of the same problem, i dunno, it needs fixing...

I'm fairly sure this is high priority fix for chadz so I doubt we will go back to the old ones. We will get brand new and working ones soon. Be patient :D

I also liked the old ladders. I usually lol'd when I got ladderpulted, and it's actually something I miss nowdays :(
-
I hate when my ladders are placed perfectly and it then goes through the wall. Then it was totally pointless!

I agree: Please bring back the old ladder system! The new system sucks.
Ladders get 'stuck' at 45 degrees backwards on nothing a lot. They also 'sink' through the roof on a regular basis.
Both are bugs, i think....
Can't imagine the sinking and the getting stuck backwards on thin air to be a feature.
It's nice that people can't get ladderpulted anymore, but that was a minor annoyance and not worth the reduced usability and reliability we have now.
Please give us back our old ladders, they worked better. :)

The new ladders are retardedly useless. They stick where they should not, go through most walls and sinks into the building so you cant get on a roof or over a wall in siege. The old ladders were perfect, able to apply where you needed them, almost failsafe. Ladderpulting was such a minor occurrence in a massive team damaging way that this new ladder system isnt worth the troubles. Plus on the rare occasion I took a ride to the skies due to a ladder going down I would just crack up because that shit was a stupidly funny way to die

I support this initiative! Buggy walls and buggy ladders stink.
-
new ladders are better, you shouldn't be able to pull up a siege ladder in a narrow street.
the only thing i hate is that they can go through the walls. imo if any ladder would hit an obstacle in the 1st second after deployment, it should be automaticaly destroyed. than we would have no ladders that go through walls into gatehouse in sieges enabling people to jump down the gatehouse without taking any damage.
(aye i make these ladders too while i admit they are stupid at the same time :o)

the problem is that quite often ladders get stuck at 45 degrees backwards, even when there is nothing at all to block them. they keep getting caught on thin air.
so there are two issues: the sinking through walls and the getting stuck backwards

ah, those good old days...
you know what? i vote to bring back ladderpulting!
-
why not use old ladders system but with ladders starting at 90 degrees?
