hi all, I need help!

I just got a commoner scythe

and I need a cool awesome built to go with it!

Commoner's Scythe
Polearm, no requirements
Speed: 84Length: 182

Thrust: 15 pierce
Swing: 28 cut
Weight: 3 kg
Slots: 2
no sheath

so, a friend of mine (the ancient owner of this beauty) suggested a 3/36 built... I love the idea as I'm a fan of extreme build (42/3 30/9 9/30 12/27etc) but I would maybe like some other idea on it.

so here some built I've tought of :

Even better is 24/15, i have tried it with elder's scythe, people was QQing a lot.

1 v 1; moot comparison. Especially when you are asking for advice on battle specific builds. Only a fool would design a build purely for duel, unless it was a STF character.

I know, but I couldn't resist making you ''rage'' a bit :D

this is mainly why I wanted to make a hybrid : the scythe to jerk a bit and make QQ the spada + shield for true battle fighting

Good luck man - 3/36 would be really funny to see, and you'll actually penetrate people, but it might be frustrating to be so fragile, unless you're playing attacker on siege or somethin.

27/12 would be a legitimately powerful character though - you would hardly notice you're using a peasant weapon.  Nasty right swings paired with gimpy pike support, and you'll catch people off guard and probably be really successful.  Mostly use held right swings and you'll be golden.

*edit* can even skip WM altogether and max your IF, and give yourself 1 or 2 shield skill if you wanted to go that route.

If 1-Handed is definitely secondary compared Polearm, then I'd personally only put 50 points into 1-Hand (for a total of 51).  It'll only equate to 5 less points in Polearms.  Having 51 (compared to 1) will allow for about 5 more damage (if opponent is lightly armored).  And 50 more WPF is at least a decent speed advantage.  And it takes over 130 WPF points to go from 51 to 100 WPF.  I'd use those 130+ points to go an extra 15 or more WPF in Polearms.

You should ask TommyYYY. He has an alt (Quick Scythe) with an Elders one. I think his build was 9 str, rest in agi (think its 30).

Anyway, I'd say go for strength.  The scythe overhead was 1-shotting people on my 27/12 build.

Better off forgoing WPF if you aren't going to hybrid.

well my problem is that's on my main and I wanna also try this pretty spada +1... I think I'll hybrid and have fun with both.
