Title: Kick attack length scaled to foot please.

Kicks are underpowered; they're the shortest attack in the game even to a long dagger, you have to completely stop moving, and then, if you're succesful, often your charged attack is stuck, so you HAVE to attack IMMEDIATELY after the animation, which ultimately means you'll often be too slow.

so instead of bitching about the other stuff, i say make the kick longer; at least you have more opportunities to use it. as of now its almost useless.

Kicks are great enough as it is. I kick a lot, and trust me, it doesn't need a buff. I would maybe rather nerf the kick since the only thing you're vulnerable to is circling or stabs. Make a kicker unable to block in any direction for a brief moment and it would be better imo. :)

Kicks useless? I dont know what drug youre on, but kicks are one of the most powerful things there is atm. Longer weapon = kick advantage = uber major super melee advantage. WAAAAGH I SPAM KICKS I R PRO

I thought this thread was going to be a request for a new feature, where we have to spend skill points to get a bigger sized boot.  ("Yeah I'm 8 PS, 8 IF and size 12 boot".)  Bigger boots would be bigger kicks.

I'm disappointed at the direction this thread has taken.  Misleading title imo.

Its exactly what it says it is: a request to scale the foot longer, since at the moment the hitbox for it is somewhere at the shin or the knee, rather than at the end of the foot.

im not asking for more damage or stun or anything, just that the hitbox would be scaled with the fuckin attack.   :mad:

Practice first, only bitch once you know its deffinatly fucked. Kicking is fine, it works great. It just requires timing. I have 300 ping on NA and I regularly kick people, some of them aren't even on my team!

it has pretty good reach as it is, and if you get good at predicting people crossing in front of you, becomes a deadly and honestly pretty unfun and awful/imbalanced game mechanic since its like polestun x 10 and you can block while you kick

asking to buff it more just means you are bad at landing kicks and if you made it even easier to land.. boy nothing says fun in game design like adding mechanics that make your controlled character helpless and uncontrollable for whole seconds at a time in a twitch based fighting game!

Im fighting a lot with short weapons and some players manage to kick me so often its frustrating :)
Kick is very powerful but not to easy if you dont practice it.

there's pretty much no reason not to kick all the time, and if you land it you get a free hit, it doesn't need a buff

I think you havn't played Native about 1,5 year ago, you would have known how OP this was, back then you could have just spam "E" button, 75% of 1 vs 1 ended with kick-slash combo. Every time I fought with Harlequin or Blackitt (probably the only players that mastered this technique back then, of course there were a lot of others that abused it pretty nice) I died after getting kicked and slashed right in the face. Fixing kicks was probably the only good change made by TaleWorlds after game realese  :). Now it's a risky move, but still very profitable if done properly, it is more skill based and should stay this way.

No really, kicks are powerful but are also very risky. I say keep them like they are now. If you nerf them, it will be a lot harder fighting agi shielders.

Kicks used to be longer, but they were ridiculously overpowered.

Kicks are completely fine as is; most people (me included) are just bad at timing them.

Yes, kicks are situational and somewhat bugged, but thats the skill part in using them.

Also, people with crappy net need to be very fast to actually hit someone after successful kick.

Also, kick USED to have wider angle and longer range, at least it felt that way, and it was godlike game ender in almost every 1v1 that lasted more than 2 or 3 blocks.

I wouldnt LOVE a stat, maybe "Unarmed" or something, that putting WPF into, or maybe skill points, would give you slightly longer kick maybe, or faster kicks and punches maybe. But not just buffing the kick, its pretty boss and nicely balanced for risk/reward, cause it IS easy to kill a guy kicking if you expect it, but unexpected kick kills you very well.

Kicks are only risky if your a shielder since you can't use your shield while you are kicking.

Yet you can still manual block while kicking.

You can block while kicking but you cannot turn, so kicking and missing vs fast reactions get you slashed in the back. Dont try to argue this. Its fact.

Everyone is susceptible to kicks, of course, my point is that you are going to be on recieving end of the foot more often with a short weapon since you tend to be closer to enemy.
