Hey, the thread speaks for itself. Does anyone know if a similar system has already been implemented? (tbh it could work fine with what we have in the Marketplace at the minute) If not, don't you guys and gals think it would be a cool idea if newer players could rent/borrow unused loomed weps and armour to help them in-game. For example, I would love to borrow a +3 Masterpiece Elite cav shield. I would be willing to pay gold for 1 week of use. Ofcourse the amount of gold charged would be up to those who wish to lend there loomed items. Aslong as it is well controlled I reckon it could work. There are setbacks though, as perhaps the balance of the game (between those who have looms and those who dont) could be offset, towards more loomed items in-game. Although that said I think that inbalance would be minimal, as many players already have lots of loomed equip. This is only a suggestion and probebly should be later moved to the suggestion part of the forum. But first Id like to hear peoples opinions.
cheers

There is the Loom Library.

That is an awesome Idea. Guess would need a bunch of coding tho to make the items non sellable n all that...
+1 tho, would be nice to see it implemented.

Right, where could I find this Loom Library?

the OP however makes it possible for loomless people to rent looms, whereas the library requests looms and gold for you to rent something

I wish I could help with the coding, I hadnt figured that in, since I thought someone could just request an heirloomed item on the market, and the lender could accept and vice versa after the agreed rental period was up.
Anyway thanks for the postive feedback, and yeah as you say the Loom Library kinda defeats the object of this thread. ^^
