Hello! I am about to be lvl 31 and I would like to sell my loom point. How much do they usually go for and how do I trade? Thanks!

Current average price is probably 600'000, sometimes a bit lower, sometimes a bit higher around 650'000 to even 700'000. How they are sold is either to make a +1 item for someone (rarely), usually to add a loom point to an item that is already +1 or +2. You'll make a thread on the Sell section of the marketplace, "Selling Loompoint 600-700k" or something like that and probably get a PM or reply nearly instantly.
Then you'll probably be asked to put up Stones for a +1-2 item, and the person who you get it from will put up a trade of the agreed upon amount of gold in exchange for their new +2-3 item. Of note: you cannot add an heirloom point into anything you do not have the skill for (can't heirloom a 4 shield skill shield if you only have 3, or Throwing Lances if you lack Power Throw, stuff like that).
Hope this helps somewhat.

OK, so basically I will put up stones for let's say a +1 Longsword. I will trade them that, loom it, and then I will put it up again for 600k and they will buy it? THanks

No, they will put up an offer of stones + 600k requesting the +2 longsword.
Do not put up +2 longsword for 600k. Don't put up any trade that if someone else saw, they would accept cuz it's free assets (altho it's now illegal to poach errors like this, you will avoid problems).

Wait, what? Can someone please explain it again? Sorry

You put up
offer: Stone - request: +1 longsword
you retire, and loom it
He puts up
offer: 600k - request: +2 longsword
This prevents any 3rd party stealing it, cuz each trade is a bad offer from a value perspective.

Yeah basically think of it this way - don't offer anything that someone in their right mind would snatch.
If you offer stones and request a +1 longsword, no one in their right mind will accept that trade except for the person you are dealing with.
If they on the other hand were to offer a +1 longsword in exchange for stones, that sword would be snagged up by someone within a minute of it being placed on the market.
As long as you keep that rule in mind you shouldn't run into outside poachers.
