I think he meant that goretooth isn't worth shit in melee outside of his black armor, which I agree with.
At this point even in his black armor he doesn't scare me anymore as I can take him 1 on 1 relatively easily.

YEp gore is made for 1v1 dueling with his zero athletics and 15 agi in the heaviest armor their is. Hes a battle char made and designed for strat and battle in mind. Pat I barely ever seen you do anything on the server and the rare few 1v1 we've had I've won if not all but most fights. Just play the game tired of reading threads claiming their the best. Pat shouldn't you be crying in the na alarm list thread to be on the list? Go prove anything you claim, thats how you get on lists, posts, and even threads about you. Dont duel on forum hit the game servers.

Don't care. I'll charge either of them and die with honor (as much as is to be had in a video game). I've taken down both a few times, but more often than not get 1-shotted due to my own mistake. They're about even in terms of frustration. Gore takes 5 hits with my heirloomed mancleaver to kill while he 1-shots me, Balb's shield takes 6 hits to break while he can 2-shot me (though without his shield or if he fucks up at least I can 1-2 shot him.) Both annoying, both excellent opponents in the battle servers.

id say manowar as well for the fact he play light armor doesnt wear a huscarl , and is a great manual blocker ,
but he use a side sword... minus 1 for him ! , still the best 1h out there ( NA side )

Agreed. But hey, it is the best 1her by far in every stat overall so you can't blame him. I hate it though. Looks, stats, everything. Not a fan of the long espanada either because of the looks, but it still looked far better on him than the side katana. *Not that I'm against "fencing" style swords, but they're worse than the spamitar + scrubscarl. What theme does it fit? Side sword + buckler would work stylistically but otherwise, blegh. A sense of style and theme is something I really miss seeing.

Gore' was in the NA 100 man all day, he just was rocking a crossbow and a pure white cloth outfit to throw people off.

I remember pre-upkeep, gore was last one alive on the oasis map, had killed someone in the desert and was now looking at dudes on horses with xbows and stuff to throw. He accepted death gracefully and didnt spaz jump around trying to dodgeXD

Well, goretooth would beat balb, balb basically said it himself. Balbaroth has not been playing much and has gotten rusty.
I like these BKS guys because they are so cocky, while some are really good I don't think they quite match up to ManofWar, singing or cyranule in dueling...

I'll say that I've never seen Balbaroth play, Goretooth is a solid player and Manofwar is good too.
I'll also say that cRPG dueling is hard to "tier" as gear/stats/situations always get in the way, which is why I like to duel on native (same game, just even footing.)
I'll keep my opinions on who is the absolute "best" to myself, I suppose. Most of you haven't seen any BkS duel with trypants on, it seems, so it will sound hollow coming from me.

Tell the truth, I would rather you do so with pride, then lie and have an utterly worthless opinion. Life is too short to stoop for nincompoops.
I expect BKS to speak their mind and play with style and effectiveness as always.

If I really had to pick between the two, I'd say Balbaroth now. Not because of previous biases but because now I've seen Goretooth fall to just about everyone in my clan.

Dueling with a little uneveness is actually more fun to me now. It's nice to have to adjust timings and footspeed on the fly vs different people with different builds nowadays. I pretty much always make balanced builds stat-wise so I can definately see when I'm against an agi-demon with a spamtana but dies in 1-hit vs fighting a slower STR-monster that takes 3-6 hits from my mancleaver to put down. Keeps it fun and fresh.
Just my 2c though.
