I keep hearing everyone talk about these "loom points". I assume that you use them to instantly heirloom an item, but I have some questions.
Where do you get them?
Are the legal?
How much do they cost?
Any info would be truely appreciated.

Not Legal.

Loompoints refer to the loom option of when you retire, or the "freebie" of doing something special/fixing something.
Retire and it will allow you to spend a "loompoint" to loom an item and thus make it better (increase the heirloom level by 1 point, base items are +0, and go up to +3).
Freebies are given out when you win the chadz lottery, or given under special circumstances, and can be saved until you choose to spend them (and unlike the normal retirement heirloom option, these can be spent on any item even if your character can't use it).
They are legal.
If you choose to "buy" one from another player, basically you give them the item on the market that you want heirloomed plus a ridiculous amount of cash, and they heirloom the item for you and give it back. They used to cost 400K per point, but are now 700K minimum due to the inflation of less people willing to sell their heirloom points plus sellers knowing that the new items are making buyers desperate.

Thanks for the info, but 1 more question.
What is the chadz lottery?

Oh, so you have to spend IRL money to get a CHANCE of winning one? No way then.

It goes to supporting the servers, more of a small incentive/reward system.
If you do not wish to donate nor retire, you can help in future projects such as website design, or like Kanji Kajia did with creating art for the c-RPG game/loading screens (won about a million community donated gold, plus several loom points from the Devs).
They are supposed to be given under special circumstances, to be fair, as a reward or as a band-aid for when something goes wrong.

Thread title: Ask Tears a question day...
Did you know that the cost of alcohol and cigarettes has increased? and if so, do you find this appalling. Next thread, ask Panos a question day...

The Artist is called Kajia. Not ''Kanji''.

I had no idea, though I am not surprised between general inflation and some certain bits of propaganda pushing taxe increases on those items. I do not find it appalling.

A small insight on how my brain re-labels names into things I can remember easier.
For example, I think of you as Crisco not Christo.
Boooooo! Where's beer, the enlightened one...
