Since I'm tired of seeing rage/nerf/complaint threads in General Discussion, how about start a positive one.
Tell me what YOU like, please refrain from bashing other builds please :)


I like the satisfaction of side swinging someone who is trying to do an overhead =D seems classic to me.


Let's see if this thread works, since it is hard for people not to QQ about things +D

I love one shotting baddie lancer cav horses when they try to couch me or lance me head on.

I also love headshotting cav players and tin cans, giving them the old one and done dome shot.

I like helping out teammates and stabbing people in the back as I ride by.  I like when a teammate is out numbered 2 to 1 and I'm able to kill one guy with my lance and horsebump the other enemy and my teammate kills them as they are on the ground. 

I like when teammates see me trying to help them and back away from the enemy a couple feet allowing me to either bump or stab them.  I like when people team hit me and they say sorry.  I like when our infantry sticks together and fights in groups.  I like when our pikemen protect our archers.  I like when our cavalry attacks the enemy infantry instead of trying to kill the enemy cav the whole round.  I like when the enemy cavalry outnumbers our own when our cavalry tries to run interference until our ground troops get off the open field.  Above all, I like when I go head to head against another lancer cav and kill them in 1 hit. 

I also like x5's, I like playing while I'm out of my mind, and I like recognizing players on the battle field.

i like teamplay, i like steamrolling with my clan, i like defending the weaker, i like facing increddible ods and comming out victorious, i like facing increddible ods and nearly comming out victorious. i like to see people following me and my clanm8ts after we have had a few succesfull rounds of teamplay and tactics, i like taking out targets of whom i know are the enemys strongest, i like the adrenaline rush this game gives when you fully emerge.

I like out-stabbing spears, pikes, etc. with my Heavy Bastard. I like luring 4-5 enemies away from an objective and keeping them occupied by myself, while my teammates slip in past them. (I even occasionally get a kill from it!)

I like standing in the middle of an open field with my great bardiche or mallet and taking on lancer cav 1 v 1.  It's ridiculously fun to one shot a horse with an overhead, then kill the defenseless rider. 

It makes me giggle like a little girl every single time.

I like helping my team out and getting helped.
I like players with a sense of teamplay and tactics.
I like players waiting for flag instead of rushing to death.

I also have som love/hate relationship with archers. I love having good archers on my team :)
I like archers who denies 2h players duels at the end of rounds giving the team a round win instead of a loss.

I like good players that don't whine about something being OP. The game is balanced.
The team with the best tactics will almost always win. Unfortunately most rounds are pretty straighforward with both teams just charging each other.

Manual blocking and chambers, the metal-on-metal clang and the feeling of it
Hewing down foes, the sound and feeling of going through armor and sinking into flesh
Feinting and just swinging a weapon, appreciating the individual physics of the weapons in the open-form, four-direction combat system
Killing archers, especially unawares or when trying to run
Felling horses on the move
A good duel against a seasoned warrior, of course
Team work, especially clan battles in the ENL

I'm a bad and I know it.  :mrgreen:  I don't think I will ever get frustrated with c-RPG, I love the game, it has it's flaws, but I don't think I have ever gotten mad at it and I don't think I can.  I think you gotta just relax, if you need to take a step back then that's all cool, this isn't some MMO that you ruined your life over or something.

i think hardstyle sux, i like oldschool gabber rave , and darkcore/hardcore over that shitty harstyle. although i dont really listen to eny of these styles nowerdays, more minimal, d&b and other electronics inbetweens in the bubble we call music.

I like it when a cav player plays chicken with me and I win. It's almost as if they don't think my arbalest will kill them or their horse. Sometimes it goes bad but most of the time they either end up on the floor looking rather silly or with a bolt in their face.

I like recognizing players. I really like recognizing good players and killing them. I especially like killing Occitans, but only because they're so good.

I like playing together with people and crutching on working with my teammates.

I like stabbing around teammates with spears, learning what ways I must use not to hit them has been fun (sorry, guys, it's a constant learning process).

I like being able to (usually) outrun archers who try to escape.

I like having a very low amount of shield skill, only 2, because manual blocking is more fun, and I don't worry too much when my shield gets broken.

I like seeing new clans come into the game, we can certainly use fresh faces and styles.





I like that certain people will actually be respectful if you don't approach them snidely or sarcastically, this community surprises me sometimes with its potential for levelheadedness, even after raging shitstorms.

I love when i'm in a big fight, 5+ on either side simultaneously fighting in one large group and a piker/long spear thinks their good and pokes me from behind their team assuming they are far enough away from the fray, and I charge thru everyone and kill the piker/long spear(er) and have people in Vent/TS tell me about how they raged that their team didn't stop me.
