just thinking Dual weild swords?
i mean would it be that difficult?
all you will need to do is mirror one side of screen right? i think it would be good because it can bring a whole different class into mount and blade i think it would be interesting and would mean for variety on the game ass well as a speed class which is not many of i wouldnt consider putting the damage high it should be low but pretty quick not to quick so people cant hit back but quick.
also if this does become a reality then try not to make them to over powered :)
thanks shane.

You will probably get trolled, but still a cool idea. A berserk with two axes would be cool. However, it isn't the most historically accurate fighting style in full battle.

Becuase this game is all about historical accuracy.
I want to dual wield MW Long Espadadadadadadadadadas for double stabbing fun.

For implementation I would suggest 2 attacks, the first takes the normal swing time, the 2nd half the swing time. Then recovery would take 1.5 times normal. So if someone gets the double block off and attack back, you are dead.
Blocking for people with single weapon would have to be fast enough to counter both swings with a left block/right block or whichever combo is used.
You would have to press both buttons to control it and you couldn't block during the recovery time. Swings would be combos. I don't think overhead combos should be allowed. Essentially a left slash followed by thrust, right slash followed by thrust. Up mouse motion would do double slash. Down mouse motion double thrust. (again, they follow each other with the delay above, not at the same time)
Normal left click by itself works like 1 hander. Normal right click by itself works like normal block.
Oh yes, now go learn how to make animations! :P

The engine would not allow it without some serious editing, which would be time consuming as hell. This has been recommended like a bazillion times anyway, devs never have a response to it.

How would it work when you only have one button hard coded to swing (left click) and one button hard coded to block (right click). And if you did just use the right click for the 2nd melee weapon to swing, you wouldn't be able to swing two directions at the same time. Get back to me on that.
/this has been suggested dozens of times before, it ain't happening.

After reading Garem's M-M-M-MONSTER POST (post post post) I can't take any other suggestions seriously. But dual wielding would be cool if it were similar to using no-block weapons. IMO.

you could always make it a image thing. theres no bonuses, its just double sword... attack and block are the same except only one direction at a time.
