Does Strength have anything to do with Damage dealt When you couch with a lance.?
-
iirc its a set amount of damage + speed bonus only

Just confirming, it's only based off the lance damage and the speed. So yes, what he said.
-
it is really dumb that most people in heavy armor can survive a couch, when it should be the best way to put them down since it is so risky

even if they survive they are half dead with like 5% Health left and Even die from the next bump or arrow

Yes it does. Like normal attacks couching damage is affected by strength and weapon proficiency.
-
But unlike "normal attacks", it's not influenced by power strike? since you're not striking?
-
Forgot to mention it, PS influences it as well.

There's basically 3 different answers here. Which one is right?
Not that I need to know... but just to clarify for the guy posting... and for folks who may need this info in the future.

If you see Cmpx or Paul comment on a gameplay mechanic, you can usually assume they are correct.

Or trolling. But they never troll.

Should be obvious to tell if they're trolling (euro's have no sense of sarcasm, boom just stereotyped a billion or so people).
Thanks for the answer cmp, I honestly never thought str or ps influenced couching, I can see how WPF would increase damage.
