Title: Im looking for a good 1h sword for support, tips?

So my guys is a polearm (ashwood) with 1h sword and shield support character.

I was wondering what sword do you guys recommend?

I was looking at nordic champions sword, or grosse messer or side sword, but i'm not sure which would be best suited for my character,

Any suggestions?

again, you are going to be hemorrhaging money with that kind of equipment setup.

If you have ashwood you already have a long range anti-armor weapon, so I would suggest a shorter fast slashing weapon as a sidearm.  Nordic Short War Sword can tear unarmored people up quickly.

If its plate armor guys that are getting in your face and killing you, keep a mid range blunt like iberian mace on you.

Scimitar = cheap and powerful. Most of the time your going to be poking people, don't throw money away on an expensive side arm.
