I have seen some guys firing arrows before the animation ends. This is like the arrow going out of the bow before the archer finish his movement.... resulting in an awesome firing rate but apparently bugged result.
I want to ask if you can help me to know....
is this for very high WPF? or very high athletics?? heirloomed bows? agility? something about lag?
thanks in advance

Legolas-mode is enabled by quattro-heirlooming a hunting bow and using a special ALT-X cheatcode in game...
errr - not. ;-)
Actually I do not know. I have occasionally seen very fast archers - some seem to use Khergit-Bow (heirloomed), which is way faster than strongbow, warbow or the crippled longbow anyways. Heirlooming it makes it even faster (even my warbow has become a bit less clumsy in the meantime). Combine that with high WPF and a lot of points in agility - might have that result.
On the other hand: unless they go for headshots these guys are more a pain in the butt than effective, since even I as an archer, usually wearing a pilgrim outfit, can take several of their arrows before going down.
So not an archer mode for me. When an arrow hits, the target should not squeak and start jumping, but say *fump* and go down. :)

I know there is a bug that sometimes u can not see the archer animation yet arrows still fly at u, if that is what u mean.

Probably not the same problem. That's the same problem that excist with corrupted textures. Alt-tab into windows and back into game and it's gone. Happens to me too sometimes.

mostly yes , seems like the arrow goes flying before the animation ends. And if the archer keeps firing without stop, the diference of time between the animation and the flying arrow starts to grow

This is not about textures.

Thanks for your post but I have seen this happening mostly on guys using Strongbow and Warbow....

Ffs, l2read. I said that in response to Inhumanetie. That's the same problem as textures.

You can release the arrow before the animation finishes, it just wont be accurate at all. The animation finishes essentially when the crosshair is at its most accurate point. If you release before that, you will probably miss, but you can do it.

This might be true from the perspective of another player, but certainly not from the archer's pov. As an archer, I can say almost for certain that every time the arrow is released from my bow, the animation stops.

I will confirm this for the warbow.
