Who's got a HUGE performance drop since the item update?
It's just unbearable, freezeframes and crashes are all over the place.
Anyone else like that?

i got this 3 patches ago... and strategus sieges are unplayable because of somekinda weird slowmode(lag/fps mixed together= slowmode with freezes)new patch didn't change anything

It been awhile for me now. I run the game at a stable 60+ fps and stable 40 ping but I see people teleporting, having speed glitches (too slow then too fast usually), blocking what they did not or the opposite, swinging through each other without connecting or the opposite, shooting and missing with the arrow teleporting back to the target and going through each other all the time.

I suggest for all of you having these problems to google Ati driver detect or Nvidia driver detect! I did this with my shitty laptop and since that i've been able to play little better.

Hmm.
I'll do a huge cleanup and some installs/troubleshooting today on my PC.
Hope it'll help stuff, but even if that's fixed, I get higher serverside ping, and more block-lags where they don't register right now.
Kinda awkward.

With 40 ping and shield it often doesn't register blocks also here :?
At least it is just not me.

I also have a ping around that and I don't have any probs. Maybe you sometimes release your blockbutton for like half a sec? If someone is lucky to hit during that time although he didn't know you'll release your shield for a sec, he will hit. Even if your shield is still infront of you, the moment you leave the blockbutton you are vulnerable

Some of the larger strategus battles (mainly in cities and mainly when I'm playing EU) have really bad performance for me too. Normally on NA servers I average 150-300 FPS, the only time it ever dips to 150 is when there's 110+ people and on a map with lots of trees and textures.
In strat battles I'm lucky to have 50-60 FPS, and combined with the ping drop I get really terrible performance. I just think the hardware running these game servers isn't what is needed for running a 200 man strategus battle. Probably needs better read/write times for hard drives, or a hell of a lot more memory/processors.

It feels weird. I have my normal pings on the EU servers (25-40), but it feels more like 100+ ping and the movement seems to be slower too. Also I get hit a lot through my shield and blocks. :(

No even on big NA battles it says I have 45-50 ping, and my FPS is over 60 most of the time, but it feels like there's literally a full second delay when I hit block or attack. It literally feels worse than playing Team Fortress Classic 13 years ago on 56k dial-up with 250-300 ms latency.
I'm still blaming the servers, I say they don't have the hardware needed to handle 150+ people in a server. Dont' know if spectators make a difference towards the performance hit of the server or not. Would be cool if dev's saw a performance monitor screenshot from the server when a big strategus battle was taking place. I guarantee the processors and memory are maxed.

On NA1 with 115 people I load in after about 5 seconds. Siege server with 34 people on, half the time I get in after 10-15 seconds and then it gives me a "server connection lost" even though I've already spawned and started moving with no problems. The strategius server just does whatever it wants with me. Sometimes its fine, other time it give me "server connection lost" as soon as I click connect.
FPS has dropped by about 5 since the patch, but still well within the 70s. Do the new textures properly downgrade?

Last patch caused issues for me and then they went away as if by magic which makes me think it was my box.
I've have had any problems this patch.
