Title: Start Suggestion - Extended Titles

How about making it so that fief owners can appoint extra people within their faction to positions of power over their fiefs.  These extra people would be able to manage the fief, would get pink text but would not be able to transfer ownership (if that is ever fixed).  Other benefits can be thought of and added later.

Suggested titles

Village = Elder
Castle = Marshall
Town = Mayor

So every Village would have a Lord AND an Elder

PROs
- More pink text
- Lords can get help with managing fiefs

CONs
- none (except the work to actually do it)

Well the simple benefit is that multiple people can collect the gold, troops and equipment from fiefs which means all the responsiblity is not left to just 1 person.  There's also a 2nd person capable of chucking unwanted people out of a fief.

Indirectly this extends the number of people that have something to do in Strat. Admittedly it is not much to do, but once implemented it paves the way for further changes that can get these people more involved.  For instance, should chadz decide to follow Phyrex's suggestions here - http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,21864.0.html.  Then the extra person would be able to recruit troops along with their lord.  Alternatively if chadz decides to make Strat more similar to Warband single player where each character has a troop limit and fiefs boost that limit.  Then these extra titles can be used to spread the troop benefit from owning fiefs onto multiple people instead of just one person.

Pink text shouldnt be easily achieved and certainly not given out more than once per fief... The people that actively participate and manage fiefs in strat are often the owners.

If you fancy rank/titles incorporate it into  your clan, i think some factions are doing that and it works well

YES! As it is, I am currently chained to Ilvia. I can't leave to do stuff, at least not for extended periods. Even getting new recruits I have to (admittedly, with great pleasure) send my minions to do for me! Would be nice to have a minion+ that can at least do SOME of my stuff while I'm gone.

EDIT: It would also open up betrayels a lot. Just saying.

It seems ridiculous that only the owner of a village can manage it. Ties the owner down completely.

This would be awesome so we can have someone being a steward while the fief owner comes and supports me in the wars and whatnot.
