It looks nice, but the lack of more then, what, 8 players in the same time is a bad sign. So far only 32 players is confirmed.

Only 32 confirmed. But they've already said they are working on optimising it for a lot more. 32 is just what it can CURRENTLY support in pre-alpha.

Love the finishing moves. I wonder what sets those off. Because having those in the middle of combat could be quite annoying.

I read that they are not sure whether to make server 64 or 32 players

It's been in just about every preview written. But like I said, they also insisted in some of the previews that they were going to make it more.

This one just says 32 is not finalised:

'War of the Roses is a massive multiplayer game that will support at least 32 people on the PC (not finalized) and have a single player campaign component.'

If there is gonna be massive ammounts of retard archer and xbow class spam, I will be pissed. Hopefully it will have a class limit, unlike Warband. I dont hate archers and xbows as I know it takes somewhat skill to use em. But when entire team is ranged, it just gets pointlessly annoying. :?

Asides from a graphics update what exactly makes this superior to M&B warband/crpg??

Smaller servers, single player is CoD campaign instead of M&B sandbox, cheesy killcams, parry sparkles, is there even siege mode or cavalry? CRPG even has a freakin multiplayer campaign map.

honour is spellt differently, if its American or English... Honor = American spelling while, Honour = English spelling...

It has cav and siege.. Archery and Crossbow is no legolas spamming like M&B, more realistic..

+Finishing moves are quite realistic because, to finish off a heavy armoured knight you had to stick a knife in the gaps or open visor and stab him in the face.. Once he is down ofcourse.

Finishing moves are server side option btw..

The 32 thing is a furrfy don't worry about it. The devs have said they are aiming to make it as high as possible. If battle fielf 1942 had 64 players I'm pretty sure the net code can handle at least that.

I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being 120.

And battlefield 1942 was modded to support up to 200 players in some cases. My point being that even if the game releases only at 32-64 then modders will expand that asap.

Perk system is already in.  :)

Only Killstreaks and killcam is needed and we have the real Medieval CoD.  :mrgreen:

It looks like a dumbed down version of M&B. That's all. I have no doubt that it will be fun but it will not be the same kind of fun you get from M&B. And I do hope that those kill scenes will not actually be in the game.
