Title: The Ludus - Clanless Warriors Recruiting Center(NA)

Description:
     The Ludus is a program to provide the middle layer between the clan-less gladiators and the clans. Its sole purpose is to provide a series of lists of proven warriors in the field for clans to recruit from. Whether this recruitment is for clan initiates or battles makes no difference, this is all between the discretion of the recruiter and the gladiator.

How to be added to the list:
1) Private message Spa_geh_tea.
     a) Include your weapon style.
     b) Include name refrences of those who have seen your skills.
     c) Mention whether you want to be clan recruited or just battle recruited.
2) I will when playing talk to those refrences to make sure your of quality.
3) If your on while I am playing say hello and make mention of it(Usually NA seige server). I will spectate to determine your skills.
4) If your skills go beyond one class you will be added to all that apply.

Very cool idea if this catches on our clans always looking for myrmillonis, equites, andabatae and velites, we are a roman clan so we will accept any who wish to join.  8-)

This is a good idea I think, a listing of all non-clanners.

Hmm, what are the standards for "of quality" when you consider archers?
Seeing as they are a support class and not a lawnmower class like melee troops, is there a certain playstyle you are looking for (such as a headshot build only for the kills) when considering if they are up to your standards?

To be on the list you dont have to be mr. #1 killah. If your curious about what makes a great archer, then I'll make up some things. If ya have anything to add I'd appreciate it.

Ranged:
-Rarely hits teammates (tks or tags)
-Does not shoot into melee crowds where teammates have the advantage (3v1...4v1...)
-Singles out key players in a match for harassment
-Provides assistance to teammates who are at a disadvantage
-Able to melee if necessary

If Token_Smitty and or DR. Horrible are interested in a clan they will be welcome at LL, also we are always lloking for archers and throwers and we dont care about k:d ratio as long as your not a tkr.

The Knights Of the BlackRose Are looking for some recruits such as "Myrmillonis and Venatores"

We are a Semi-Serious Clan-NA so we take part with a "ranking system" which means theres a "Armor-Restriction"

We also don't Approve the use of crush though weapons and throwing weapons, so if you are interested and you use these weapons. Retire and start a new build because we take no exceptions. Also we don't allow the use of any non-European Weapon or armor.

 And we have plans to partake in Strategus.

We did take a village, far in the east. Our seers predicted that bad things would be happening in the west, so we evacuated and sold it to the first poor suckers who offered. Erm, I mean, we sold it to a bunch of jolly knights.

Pfffffft, back when I was being introduced to Warband and hung out with RS I remember that Archers and Horse Archers and Throwers were no skill my old friends. What changed? Why U so uncool now?

Surely you are missing the point when Dex and Hud both ride cataphracts with full milanese and their barmaces and 2-h swords.
