The Han empire began in 206 B.C. when Liu Bang, prince of Han, defeated the Qin army in the valley of Wei. Economic expansion, changing relationships with the people of the steppes, strengthening of the palace at the expense of the civil service, weakening of the state's hold on the peasantry, and the rise of the families of the rich and the gentry were all factors that led to the adoption of Confucian ideals..Spanning over four centuries, the period of the Han Dynasty is considered a golden age in Chinese history To this day, China's majority ethnic group refers to itself as the "Han people".
Our Faction stems from the multi-gaming community - Clan Shu feel free to look around for the games you play and chat the website is open to every one!

Requirments: Since this is a strategus clan you have to join on your main, teamplay is a must (but I would assume all who want to join a clan is into that already), and to sign up for our roster in the forums.

Weapons I'm not too concerned with,
Armor: Try it keep it eastern looking!
Heraldic, and Strange armor is a no go. Stray away from European helms. Anything Khergit, steppe, and sarranid looking you can shoot for and claim your part of our barbarian death squad!
Heavy suggestions: Any lamellar, Sarranid guard armor, coat of plates, brigandine, Khergit Guard Armor, and the whole elite line.!
Medium suggestions: Tunics over mail, DRZ armor, the Lamer vest line, Cavalry robes, Scale armor ect.
Light Suggestions: anything leather, DRZ shirt, Nomad Vest, Any Padded cloth, Nomad Robe ect.

lol to be honest i was thikning about starting a clan with Han name also however i dont think ur armor requirments fit the looks of a chinese soldier

They're only suggestions if you have better choices feel free to tell I'm all ears with a bit of torso. Sry to beat you to the punch however you're welcome to join our Han =P.
The only thing I don't see fitting is the tunics over mail since the Chinese didn't have a lot of mail but I liked the Red, blue, n green options. The chinese had scale, and lammar armors afaik and cavalry robes well they just shout that era. Not really a lot of pure Chinese armor is out there in circulation.

Any khergit/sarranid armours would work as well, just claim they're mercenarie calvary from the frontiers :P

Good luck from the Kingdom of England. I'd like to see how a chinese theme clan will work out. Maybe you could apeal for someone to make some chinese style equip for crpg?

It would be nice if we had some Chinese armor/wpns. Looked into the item creation a little... Seems like a large learning curve just like the game.
